Grey or not? I have no grey bags yet. It’s a little drab for me but the styling on this Derek Lam bag is tempting. The handle would make it easy to carry, not too sure if it would add a lot of weight w/o actually feeling the bag though. The tassel is cute. But really, where does Derek Lam get off charging $1700 for one of his bags??

As I get lazier and lazier, there seems no end to how lazy I can get!… but now I am getting more picky about having my hands free while out and about. Alas my dreams are being answered with all the new sling style bags out there this season.
This one from See by Chloe is a winner by all accounts in my little book. The practical shape can be worn across the body keeping your hands free, and the silver color here is always a neo-classic favorite of mine since it matches with nothing and everything. The big flap makes it convenient to quickly turn up and rummage around for your phone or wallet, and those handy zippers are calling out for my chapstick and lipgloss.
I was one of the fortunate girls who got to wear retainers and braces for most of junior high and high school. Even then I didn’t learn my lesson and I forgot to wear my retainers as directed… so today I have the pleasure of a getting junk in my grill after every meal. Thank God for my true girlfriends and now my husband who are on constant grill-alert.
Now, thanks to my friend "skim", I have another remedy for this so very embarrassing and very un-luxe habit.. He invented a tiny mirror that can stick on to any object/surface. It’s called "Little Mirror". It’s about the size of 2 quarters and sufficiently large enough to admire half your face at a time — or in my case just enough visibility to fish out the pepper or spinach between my teeth. You can stick it on your cell phone, PDA, or mp3 player. I think I’ll slap one on my laptop. For those extra boring meetings you know!
