I’m a bit surprised by the result of the What’s Your Shoe Shape Poll.. are you? I really thought the narrow one would win. I have some theories though… first off I’ll come out and tell you which one is my fav — it’s the narrow BUT to tell you the truth I actually end up buying the rounded shape most! I’m wondering if most of you chose based on what shape you think looks best or based on which one you buy/wear the most. Obviously, the rounded shape is most comfortable to our feet. Pointy is really pain, little gain. I’m so glad the pointy shape for boots at least is not IN these days. Maybe women just finally kicked back and said HELL IF I WEAR THOSE ON MY NEWLY PEDICURED TOES!!

Christian Louboutin Suede Ankle Boots — we can all dream. I’d never buy these really bc suede lasts about one season for me. I’m just not graceful enough to take care of these.

Frye Multi Strap Boot — I own a pair of Fryes and the craftsmanship is flawless.

Boutique 59 Holler Boot

Steve Madden Paddington Boot — these look so comfy, ready to throw on over anything in the cold weather. Love the removable cuff touch — ingenious.

So this is yet another random obsessive thought from an obsessive Virgo.. but I’m wondering what the majority of girls out there prefer when it comes to shoe shape. And I’m not talking about just any part of the shoe — I mean the front toe area.. when you’re looking straight down at your shoe that part of the shoe that juts out. This area is the part of your shoe that you’ve got to really like because you see it ALL the time. I mean, everyone gets to see the hot heels and the lovely profiles of your Manolos and Choos but all your really get to see is this nice little stump, other than of course when you are growling at yourself out in the mirror.

I’m rather particular about the front part of my shoes. Hmm, what is this part of the shoe called anyway? Need a name… how about Shoe Cap? Toe Stump?  If any of you know what this part of the shoe is really called please do indulge me. [AHA! I found it.. I think it's called the Toe Cap. I’m so lucky and my manager hooked me up phat with the 15" Mac Book Pro! The fact that the first one I got was bunk (hard drive was toasted) is besides the point… just look this piece of work. It’s so smooth to the touch, everything within the interface glides… the backlight of the keyboard and apple logo..
