I was one of the fortunate girls who got to wear retainers and braces for most of junior high and high school. Even then I didn’t learn my lesson and I forgot to wear my retainers as directed… so today I have the pleasure of a getting junk in my grill after every meal. Thank God for my true girlfriends and now my husband who are on constant grill-alert.

Now, thanks to my friend "skim", I have another remedy for this so very embarrassing and very un-luxe habit.. He invented a tiny mirror that can stick on to any object/surface. It’s called "Little Mirror". It’s about the size of  2 quarters and sufficiently large enough to admire half your face at a time — or in my case just enough visibility to fish out the pepper or spinach between my teeth. You can stick it on your cell phone, PDA, or mp3 player. I think I’ll slap one on my laptop. For those extra boring meetings you know!
