My Aritzia Fall Edit: Five Outfits I’d Actually Wear

What I bought at Aritzia for fall 2026, styled five ways for dinner, office meetings, museum days, an all-day outing and a client presentation.

My Aritzia Fall Edit: Five Outfits I’d Actually Wear

The images in this post are AI-assisted styling simulations based on my own Aritzia fitting-room photos and the pieces I bought or selected. I used them to test combinations on my own body before doing another full round of try-ons.

I bought eight pieces at Aritzia for that September-to-October stretch when the mornings feel like fall but the afternoons have other plans.

Instead of creating five generic “fall outfits,” I built each look around somewhere I would actually wear it: dinner, a day of meetings, a museum, an all-day outing and a client presentation. Once the occasion was clear, the rest—proportion, texture and especially the shoes—became much easier to decide.

Look 1: Dinner or date night

I would wear the look shown above to dinner or a date night when I want to feel dressed up without wearing a dress.

The contrast is what makes it work: mocha lace against a structured grey blazer, a cream skort against the darker layers, and a substantial loafer with the shorter hem. The skort keeps the long blazer from feeling too formal, while the loafers make the outfit comfortable enough to walk somewhere after dinner.

Look 2: A day of meetings where I still want to feel like myself

For a day of meetings: white poplin, cocoa trousers and a minimal brown sandal. AI-assisted styling simulation.

A white button-up with tailored brown trousers can turn corporate very quickly. The version I liked has softer definition at the waist, an open collar and sleeves pushed up rather than a crisp, formal tuck.

The brown square-toe sandal keeps the proportions relaxed and makes sense for the warmer part of fall. It still looks pulled together for the office, but it feels like something I would actually choose.

Look 3: A museum, church or a proper daytime outing

A proper daytime outing: cream tailoring, black satin, plum pleats and cream ballet flats. AI-assisted styling simulation.

The plum Twirl Skirt does most of the visual work here. The black satin camisole gives it definition, while the cream blazer keeps the overall palette light.

The ballet flat was the important change. A heavier shoe weighed down the pleats, while a heel pushed the outfit further into evening. The cream flat repeats the lighter color of the blazer and stays comfortable for several hours of walking or standing.

Look 4: Out all day, then into the evening

This is the outfit I could put on in the morning, wear through coffee, errands and lunch, and keep on for a casual dinner.

The brown-grey Alliance Jacket gives it structure. Changing the camisole from black to cream breaks up the darker jacket and pants, while the black Helix Barrel Pant gives the look a strong base.

The off-white Adidas Tokyo is lower and cleaner than the first sneaker we tried, so it works much better with the curved shape of the pant. Gold hoops, a pendant and a bangle add enough finish for evening without changing the relaxed feel.

Look 5: A client presentation or networking lunch

For a client presentation or networking lunch: striped poplin, black barrel pants and espresso heels. AI-assisted styling simulation.

I would wear this to a client presentation or networking lunch—something professional where I still want the outfit to have a point of view.

The striped Portofino Shirt keeps the top half relaxed. Soft waist definition keeps its volume in balance with the curved Helix pant, and the espresso heel gives the outfit a more precise finish without turning it into a suit.

The other pieces I bought

I also bought the Lodge Satin Pant, Perfect Hoodie and Souvenir Pant.

They are the quieter pieces in the haul. The Lodge Pant gives me a softer alternative to a tailored brown trouser. The black hoodie and Souvenir Pant create a simple tonal base that also works under the Alliance Jacket. Not every purchase needs to lead an outfit to be useful.

Why these work for early fall

For September and October, I do not need heavy layering. I need layers I can remove, richer textures that still feel light, and shoes that can change the level of formality.

That is the common thread through these five outfits: satin with tailoring, cream against deeper fall colors, and one specific shoe choice for the actual day ahead. These are clothes for the plans I already have—not an imaginary fall life.

Shopping note: Links and availability were checked September 19, 2026. Sold-out exact items are linked as styling references rather than presented as currently shoppable. The Serif Camisole currently has limited sizing, and the Tony Bianco heel is nearly sold out. Availability can change.
